TORRES Int. begins its history with one of the best railway engineers in Mexico: Jesus Rubén Torres Núñez, Electrical Mechanical Engineer of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the National Polytechnic Institute.
It all began on November 10, 1952 when engineer Jesus Rubén Torres began in the railway environment through the Ministry of Communications and Transportation in the administration of Adolfo Ruíz Cortines. Later it was transferred to the Chihuahua and Pacific Railroad to occupy the towing equipment and driving force management. He lived transcendental challenges for the industry, such as the change of steam locomotives to diesel and electric locomotives; the construction of the Chuviscar channel in Chihuahua, Mexico; and the construction of the Chihuahua-Pacífico Railroad.
Subsequently, he held the Purchasing Direction of the National Railcars Construction Company during 4 presidential periods, one of the biggest challenges of his career with offices in Mexico City and Paris.
He was in charge of the department of combined purchases of Ciudad Sahagún, he also was the Acquisition Director in the purchase of components for the construction of the subway in Mexico, as well as its nationalization.
He was Plant Manager at Nylbo Industries where nails, staples and springs for railway cars were built and

Finally he was the Commercial Director of 3 companies: Mexican Company of Railway Material (representative of foreign companies), Miner and Méndez de México (sale of traction equipment) and Monterrey Industrial Railways (sale of waste and changes of track).
Jesús Rubén has been admired by the industry given his drive, leadership and great transformational vision.
He died on August 15, 1993 at the age of 67 after fighting cancer, without being remembered for his great contributions and passion for the Railways.

Later he adds Independent Draft Gear to his list of represented companies, an Association of American Railroads (AAR) certified service provider that specializes in the reconditioning and testing of railcar draft gears.
Years later A. Stucki Company acquires IDG forming Grupo Stucki, U.S.-based designer, manufacturer, and supplier of engineered products and services to the international rail transportation market.
